This point spread feels off. While the Grizzlies might get some respect as the home team with a rest advantage, they haven’t exactly impressed lately — especially with Ja Morant nursing an ankle injury. Even if Morant suits up, he won’t be at full strength, and Memphis hasn’t shown enough consistency to justify being favored. On the flip side, the Mavericks are finally healthy and clicking. Their frontcourt depth with Anthony Davis, Daniel Gafford, Dereck Lively, and PJ Washington has become a serious problem for opponents, dominating the boards and scoring inside at will.

Defensively, they’re forcing teams to settle for jump shots with limited success. Brandon Williams is also emerging as a scoring threat and is coming off a strong outing against Sacramento. I backed the Mavs in that game, and I’m doing it again here. This team is peaking at the right time, and I’m confident they’ll go into Memphis, make a statement, and get the win outright.
