The Boston Celtics continue to monitor the status of Jayson Tatum, who remains bothered by a wrist injury, while the Orlando Magic are still missing key contributors in Jalen Suggs and Moritz Wagner. Although Boston didn’t steamroll Orlando in Game 2 like they did in the opener, they still found a way to grind out the win behind a standout performance from Jaylen Brown, who stepped up big-time in Tatum’s absence. Now that the series shifts to Orlando, it’s reasonable to expect the Magic’s supporting cast to show more life with the energy of the home crowd behind them.
However, even with a potential boost from their role players, it’s hard to imagine the Magic putting together a full 48 minutes strong enough to outlast this Celtics squad. I briefly considered the idea of siding with the Magic at home, especially with the spread being so tight, but ultimately, Boston’s overall depth, experience, and playoff composure tilt the edge heavily in their favor. I’m backing the Celtics to cover and take a commanding series lead. Take Boston ATS
